Moving to Hertha Berlin in June 2010 not only gave Ronny better sporting perspectives, it was also the fulfillment of a dream: for the first time, he would be playing in a team together with his brother Raffel - and with quite a lot of success. Hertha finished on top of the standings in the second division and immediately bounced back to the Bundesliga. Ronny racked up 22 appearances, two goals and five assists in his first season at the river Spree - a good showing.
Matchday 20 of this season also marked a very special moment for the pair of brothers, as both of them were on target for the first time during a 3-1 win over Arminia Bielefeld. Now the two would like to make a splash in the top flight as well and help the "Old Lady" establish herself in the Bundesliga.
